Wedding Ceremonies

Your Wedding Ceremony sets the tone for the rest of your happy day, so kick start your celebrations with a unique and fantastic Wedding Ceremony, in a location of your choice.

You can be as romantic and creative about your ceremony as you wish and we are with you every step of the way. Just separate the legal administration from your wonderful Wedding Ceremony and ask us to craft the perfect ceremony for you.

Sing, light candles, scatter rose petals, release doves, have a ring ceremony, handfasting, padlock ceremony or sand ceremony – there are many wonderful and inspiring options to choose from.

We also bridge the gap between those who have a religious faith and those who have a different point of view and we work with our couples to find a comfortable and honest middle ground.

Tell us about your day

We are always excited to find out what you want and we do the work to design the ceremony of your dreams. Hold your ceremony in the moonlight, at sunrise or sunset, or at any time of day that suits you. Include whoever you want – dads, mums, grandparents, cousins, friends, children, pets!

You can have your wedding ceremony in formal venues (with or without a licence), in family gardens, on boats, in castles, at home, on beaches, up mountains, in fields and on the banks of beautiful rivers. The options are endless.

Did you know?

You can have your Wedding Ceremony wherever you want if it is led by a Celebrant.

A Registrar will not marry you outside, unless it is approved in a licensed venue or unless you separate your legal ceremony from your celebration, as you would with us (this only applies to some councils). As with all council led ceremonies and regardless of where they are, there are particular limitations on the time, place and content of wedding ceremonies conducted by Registrars. Although some Registrars call themselves Celebrants, Council ceremony content will only repeat legal statements about marriage and will not provide you with a beautifully personalised ceremony. Visit our FAQs page for further details on the legal formalities.

The freedom to choose

Some couples and families like to have some spiritual references and this is particularly important for their beliefs and to honour family tradition. So your Wedding Ceremony can be as dignified and traditional as a church service, but with all or some of the religious elements replaced with a more contemporary, modern and emotionally relevant approach.

White Rose Ceremonies are delighted to be a supplier for The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation.

From the moment I met Rebecca, I knew White Rose Ceremonies were exactly what we needed. We had been looking for a way to have a ceremony which was personal and really captured who we were as a couple – I honestly do not think there would have been anyone who could do it better.”
